Braskem, Neste ink chemical recycling feedstock agreement
Publish date: 2024-10-25
Finnish chemical recycler Neste and Braskem have signed a supply agreement for renewable and recycled-attributed feedstocks.

The Brazilian petrochemicals giant will use the chemically recycled feedstock to produce polymers and chemicals on its Wenew portfolio. Products are expected to be available from the fourth quarter of 2024, mostly in South America.

"We're introducing a new solution that will adhere to the industry’s high-quality standards while ensuring sustainability right from the start of the value chain," said Fabiana Quiroga, director of circular economy at Braskem in South America. "This partnership with Neste is a significant milestone in our journey towards a circular economy."
